We have ADR's for Teppanyaki and are using the DDP. The more I read about Teppanyaki, the more concerned I am that our credits would be better used somewhere else. Is it difficult to use the DP there and are you really restricted on what you can order? Would we be better off to pay OOP there? Do you think it is worth the money if you pay OOP? Has anyone noticed poor service if you use the DP? Thanks for any information.

Have not been there yet, we have ressies for our trip in october. From scanning the menus and some of the other reviews I've read it seems like there are two menus with basically the same offerings. It's just that the lunch menu has fewer combinations. With the DDP it seems like the restictions are as follows: no lobster combinations, no sushi appi, and two salad choices seaweed or regular salad. Again I could be wrong but this is what I gather from my research.

Yup. That's about right. We were there in June. My wife really wanted sushi so she paid like $8 OOP. You can still get your money's worth there.

AFter the bad reviews and our own personal experience with the bad service. I have heard this is one of the "hardest" places to use your TS credit at. We switched our ressies around and are now eating lunch there OOP and eating dinner at Le Cellier instead.
