I plan on ordering the steak and shrimp - will it be cooked with special spices? What will be different than having steak and shrimp at any other restaurant?

Not much, they add some terriyaki or soy sauce and a little garlic. It's very good.

Teppanyaki is one of my favorites. That is what I always get and I love it. I would strongly suggest you go there. They give you two or three dipping sauces on the side.

Everything that is cooked at Teppanyaki is bite size. The shrimp, chicken, and beef, are cooked on a grill in front of you. Each chef is trained to not only cook, but to entertain at the same time. Disney's version of teppanyaki is pretty good but fairly basic. Still, if you have never been, please go. You will have a great time. Enjoy! :)

I ate here in July with my kids, DH and my parents as well. Everyone had a good time! I loved the food.

We went two years ago and were disappointed. The chef was very basic and the food wasn't very tasty. For the money I'd go to a Japanese restraunt at home and go to a different one in WDW. We've been several times to Jap. restraunts at home and been very pleased.

We eat here every time we go to disney. The food is excellent and the way it is prepared and served is very entertaining. We have never been disappointed. I recommend.
