We are wanting to try Teppanyaki (all of us except my DS) and was wondering if I will need to make AR's for it also, we are going in October. I'm not for sure we will eat here since my son doesn't like that type of food (want his chicken and shrimp fried  ) and was wondering if we decided to grab him a burger and then go there if we could get a table :confused3

I would say to play it safe, yes, especially if it's for dinner. We've had ARs for dinner and have seen people be turned away, but that was between Xmas & New Year's. But we have been able to just walk up and get a table for lunch.

You would probably be fine if you made AR's when you get to WDW but if you don't want to chance it do it now. We ate there on the 24th for dinner and I didn't call until that morning. Disney Dining told me that the only places you really need to call way ahead for is breakfast and dinner at Cinderella Royal table, dinner at Le Cellier and Chef Mickey's.
