Teppan Edo

Please give me your input...we want to make dining reservations (for dinner) at Teppan Edo and then try to get a good seat for Illuminations but really don't want to have too much extra time to call. What time reservation would you suggest? (I have no idea how long I should plan on dinner lasting.)

Remember that Teppan Edo is not only dinner, but a show as well. They cook the food right in front of you. They make a production out of it. I am pretty sure that DH and I were there for over an hour. We also had to wait for about 20 minutes after our ADR time.
I would schedule my dinner at least by 6:00 in order to make sure to be out before Illuminations. If you have time left over, you could always shop in the countries or just stake out your seat early.
The food is great here by the way! I had the steak and shrimp. We are planning on going back this year.

One of our favorite spots to watch Illuminations is from the deck outside of Teppan Edo/Tokyo Dining. When you come out of the restaurant, instead of walking down the stairs, turn to the left and walk toward the lake. It's a nice "upper level" view of Illuminations.

Ive always wanted to eat at Teppan Edo. I think i mat give it a shot on my next visit.

We love Teppan Edo. I would make an ADR on the early side. We have been there 3 times and have waited 20 to 30 min past our ADR time on every occasion.

We LOVE it too! We ate there twice our last trip! I always booked my reservation after the Illuminations show. It always took us about 2 hrs. b/c we sat there for a while but that's us. You'll enjoy it! They have delicious food!!
