Teppan Edo?

Anyone care to share your reviews? I've booked this for free dining because my middle DD8 loves Japanese Steakhouses. Will we be thrilled with our experience or disappointed?

My DS10 is a huge fan of Japanese steakhouses and he was quite impressed with Teppan Edo. We all were, really. The chef was very entertaining, the food was excellent, and the beginner/kid chopsticks the waitress gave the kids were great fun. Both kids were fascinated by the traditional dress and bowing of the waitresses and hostess. The only thing that might disappoint is that they do not do fried rice. Most of the other Japanese steakhouses we've been to do fried rice rather than white, but DH was the only one disappointed by the difference. LOL

Our next trip will only be 3 nights and we're probably only going to plan 2 sit-down meals since we'll have an infant along, but Teppan Edo is sure to be one of the two. We all liked it so much that it became an instant "can't miss" and it'll be the only repeat on our Dec quickie trip.

Hey Colleen,

Did they let you share? I was looking at the menu for our upcoming trip, and know that some of my kids won't eat full portions of the steak & shrimp, or the scallops & shrimp or whatever. I wondered if we ordered like 3 or 4 of these for the whole table if they would allow that? Thanks!

We were on the deluxe plan, so we didn't even ask about sharing. DS was 9 at check-in so he was on the kids' plan, but he eats like an adult. Too much food was NOT an issue! LOL

We ate there in Dec and it is a new must-do. My DS was 18 months and was so entertained by the chef. The food was delicious.

I am also wondering about the sharing. We were lucky to go to disney twice
in 07 and stay at the CR and the WL on the dining plan(16 nts.).We were not going back for a while till I saw the price for the Free dining So we are going for 8 nts at Pop. I would like to share at some TS, to be able to do HDDR. My kids are 10 and 11 so I figured we would order 3 Adult meals at LC, Teppan edo, Coral Reef. This is our 9th trip since 2000, so we are trying to have different dining experiences. Any other restaurants good for sharing?
