has anyone ate at the teppan edo in epcot and how is the dinner ???thanks going in 15 days:cool1:

We did it in January and thought it was nice enough to do again next month. We did have the deluxe plan then and are going with the basic plan this time. We never get dessert there, as we don't care for the offerings, and it didn't appear to have improved since the change, so we skipped it again. We had a female chef and she was excellent. They have new cooking tables. We enjoyed the experience.

we got the deluxe plan ...hope we wont be disappointed..going to eat also at coral reef and grand floridian cafe too..also at sci-fi and boatwrights for breakfast...going there in 15 days..thanks for the info..

The first time I went I really enjoyed the food, the second time not so much, but I was sick and very tired. We are going again this year and we like the whole package. you here good and bad about every restaurant, so you just have to try it. Good luck!

Sorry excuse the above, I responded to the wrong restaurant, I feel like an idiot? I thought I was responding to the H&V package.

Teppan Edo was really good! The food was wonderful and we were lucky enough to sit with a great group. It was a nice experience.

We love Teppan Edo and do it every trip.
We ate there in October, shortly after they reopened. We thought the setting was beautiful. The individual rooms were enhanced in the renovation. We love the new "hoods" over the grills.
Our chef was great, and we enjoyed his show very much. We were a party of 3 adults and we sat with a group of young adults with a private disney tour guide. I got to chat with her a bit and it was cool!!! She was eating with her tour group, but she had been "working" since 8 AM. A long day, to say the least.
The food was delicious, as usual. After the remodel the menu was reduced a bit. There are no longer any scallop combinations offered, and this was always my favorite.
However, the salad was much larger and very fresh, it was delicious. I loved the Teppanyaki appetizer - a great addition.
All in all we were very happy and we will return again.
Have a great Trip:cool1:
