Hi, can n e 1 tell me if the food cooked at teppan edo is realy greasy?
We have a resevation there and as im quite health concious i was a little worried that the chef mite use alot of cooking oil on the grill.... if so i think i'll choose one of the none grilled items from the menu...
hope some can offer advice :)

I haven't eaten at Teppan Edo yet, but we're big fans of hibachi style restaurants and I've yet to experience one where the food was anything even remotely approaching greasy (which is one of the reasons I like it so much). Usually the chef uses oil very sparingly, and I'd imagine those grills are like a well-used wok - not much oil is needed to keep everything working smoothly.

Not at all.

Usually only enough oil to add a little flavor & keep food from sticking to the grill.

Thankyou both, thats just what i wanted 2 hear! im now very much looking forward to dining there :)
