Teppan Edo vs. Tokyo Dining (for sushi)

Where should I make ADRs for our June trip? My DD13 loves sushi. We have previously eaten at Teppanyaki when DD was 8 or so. She didn't care for it because of some flavoring? We also ate at the old tempura place (can't think of the name). We haven't been back since these restaurants changed. It looks like we can get sushi at both places? By the way, I don't want sushi, so there will need to be other things for me. But it looks like based on the menus that isn't a problem.

As of right now we are not doing the dining plan, but I am thinking about adding it.

If you're not going to be ordering any of that hibachi food where they cook in front of you, you'd want to make a reservation at Tokyo Dining.

I (and my DH and other DD) would order from the teppan grill. But my younger DD would probably just want sushi. Is that ok?

We went to both in December.

I think you can get a sushi appetizer at Teppan Edo, but not for your entree. It's basically the grill cooking and the "show".

Extensive sushi menu at Tokyo Dining, both for appetizer, entree, or in combo plates with tempura. There were also a few plain grilled items for those who don't go for sushi or tempura, but they were not done teppan style, just grilled. Salmon, steak, and chicken, with a choice of sauces on the side. Hubby is not a sushi fan, loved the large piece of salmon.

Tokyo Dining does offer sushi alone as an entree option on the DDP too. Choice of either the Deluxe or Combination plates at the end of the sushi menu.

Since they do serve sushi at Teppan Edo, and you and your hubby would want to order from there, you can have the best of both worlds and eat together at Teppan Edo.
