I think the bolded portion is where the confusion is coming in. The split meal fee only compensates for the extra noodles and vegetables. The patrons who are splitting do not get a full entree portion of protein. If the entree portion for the Chicken & Shrimp Combo is 1 chicken breast and 6 shrimp, then each patron splitting would get 1/2 chicken breast and 3 shrimp. However, those patrons who are NOT splitting would each get a full chicken breast and 6 shrimp.
This is getting me kind of confused. For some reason everyone's got me thinking sharing is a better way to go!
I mean if I order the chicken and shrimp for myself do I get a chicken breast and 6 shrimp for myself, right? How come I would only get 4 scallops then? Seems to me the scallops are not worth getting, which is what I was trying to confirm in my original post.
