Hi, I am looking for reviews from Teppan Edo in Epcot. I am trying to plan a trip for DH and I, and he loves Japanese food:lovestruc . If you have any pics that would be great also.

Thanks

Alycia

My family and I ate there in April and we liked it although we were not stuffed when we left there. It is very comparable to a Benihana. The staff was very welcoming and attentive to our table. We had a female chef which was a first for me in a place like this but it was fun. I will say that on our next trip we will skip it not because of the service or the food, both were great but because it wasn't an out of the ordinary experience. We can get this type of experience at home basically.

I agree-we left hungry too. Kinda expensive (its disney) They changed owners, and it isnt the same. I am not a fan of the new style. We're not eating here again anytime soon. Epcot has so much to offer-we'll be dining elsewhere this upcoming trip, Le Celier! That just my opinion.;)

We ate there in 2006 and we all loved it. My kids shared plates with the adults and loved every thing. We added extra shrimp to my meal in order to have enough for two of us. My kids even tried the seaweed salad. Although the salad wasn't a hit, they were willing to try it. We were impressed with the service and as the previous post, we had a female chef. She was very engaging. We went again since it has been renovated and changed management. My previous dish of shrimp and scallops was no longer on the menu so that was a disappointment. I had steak which was cook medium rare and had a great flavor. Our chef during our second visit wasn't as engaging, but everyone liked their food except my children. They had meals from the children's plan and were not happy with their tempura style meal. It was served in a "monorail" dish my son thought was cool.

It is worth a try, but we will be trying other restaurants on our next visit.

We ate there in January of this year and enjoyed it tremendously! DS12 and DS6 (now 7) really enjoyed the "show". The food (steak and shrimp) was fab and expertly prepared and our chef went out of his way to prepare everything perfectly. Service was excellent and they paid special attention to the kiddos. Will definitely return on our upcoming trip!

We have eaten there in the past (last time was 5 years ago) and liked it alot. We eat at alot of local Hibachi restaurants at home and they give you a ton of food, soup and salad, shrimp appie, fried rice etc. I am worried that we will not be full when we leave Teppan Edo, we have ressies in August.

I ate at Teppan Edo for the first time as a solo traveler this past December and really enjoyed it. The Filet Mignon was excellent. But I think how much y'all enjoy it depends a great deal upon the other diners at your table. I was lucky to be sitting with a family of seven, which included a set of triplets. (about 10 or 11 years old I'd guess), and the entire family was very nice, and fun to talk with. The chef, a young lady (CM Momoko), was entertaining as well.

I hope y'all have a great time at WDW.

We (really, I) have always loved eating at the steakhouse. We still enjoy the "dining" side for sushi in the afternoon while enjoying the view of Spaceship Earth and the lagoon. Over our Christmas trip, we had dinner on the "Teppon" side and were disappointed. While it was alright, we probably won't go back. The portions were smaller, the choices were fewer and they don't have the bean sprouts anymore. Is it just me or does anyone else enjoy the steaming hot sprouts going over top of whatever you haven't consumed and making it "like new"!? Maybe it's just me.

It's a nice place, however, not really worthy of a return.

the portions didn't seem any smaller to me. Before the renovations and after I still got a lot of food, I'm always stuffed when I leave there. I don't miss the bean spouts.
