Teppan Edo Question

My DH and I went to Teppan Edo in March and we loved it! We are going back to "The World" in October with the entire family and would like to take them, since we had a great experience. The only issue is my DS will not eat anything on the Child's menu. Are there any suggestions out there from fellow Dis'ers?

I appreciate the help

Will he not eat chicken? Our kids aren't huge chicken eaters but the fact that it is cooked in front of them apparently is AMAZING (I should try it at home! ;)) Between the rice and noodles they normally are pretty full but the chicken does get picked at. The other option might be to order a side of noodles and rice for him.

The only chicken that he likes is nuggets and chicken breaded patty... :confused3

Will he eat steak? On our most recent visit, I ordered the steak off of the regular menu. The chef was wonderful about dividing the vegetables, noodles, and steak between our three daughters. We were given rice that we split between them as well.

My DD5 did not each much that night. We did end up sharing some crepes later that night. She filled up then!

Good luck and have fun!

You could always get him a counter service meal earlier. Let him eat and then maybe just get a drink and dessert for him at Teppan Edo. It would take more time from your day but maybe not too terrible if he is a quick eater. One adult could stay with him while he eats and the others go ride something or look at something else.

I have pretty much the same problem. My DS is 3 and is pretty picky. I'm actually working on giving him more normal chicken in the next 6 months, but if all else fails, I'll probably be able to get some noodles and rice into him and maybe get him a snack from somewhere after we leave. I've promised myself I wouldn't stress over his meals this year.

I've also read lots of posts exactly like the PP. The kids think it's so cool to that they eat it right up. That's my hope for sure!

Good luck!
Deb
