Teppan Edo or Toyko Dining???

Any opinions on which is best? Trying to find something different for one night of dining. Has anyone who has visited both, liked one over the other?

We have not done Tokyo Dining, but we love Teppan Edo. It is my son's, age 14, favorite restaurant. It is hibachi style but better and more fun than our local Benihana.

Our whole family(there are 6 of us) all vote Tokyo Dining. It has more of that Japanese feel? Does that make sense?
Plus last year we had a great window table! The food was delicious and the service was the among the best we had *CG being the best with FF a close second.

Teppan Edo is fun too though. And the food is fine.

Loved Teppan Edo but did NOT like Tokyo, I wouldn't feed that to a dog.

The only caveat is that if you like sushi, you are going to be sorely disappointed with the offerings at Teppan Edo. Otherwise, it's a fun show and the food is ok. Not great, but good.

OK, two caveats: the other caveat is that if you are going with kids, you're going to need to be vigilant about keeping their hands away from the cooking surface.

We've eaten at both Teppan Edo 4 times and Tokyo Dining 1 so you can guess which is our favorite! If you like sushi I'd go w/ Toyko Dining and if you prefer habachi style go w/ Teppan Edo.
