Teppan Edo or Coral Reef for lunch?

Party of 7 - 4 adults 3 kids ( 10,8 & almost 3).

Which has the better food? Better atmosphere? Better service?

We ate at both on our last trip. We were a party of 6, 4 kids ages 3, 6, 6, 9. The kids all liked Tepan Edo more. Everyone thought the food was better at Teppan and the service was great. Coral had the cool feature of offering seats next to the aquarium but if you've been to aquariums, it wasn't more exciting. After we saw the sharks and divers we stopped paying attention. In contrast the chef at Teppan had our attention the entire time.

I just booked Teppan Edo for lunch.

We have eaten at both and our 6 year old definitely liked Teppan Edo better. My DH and I also like the food better at Teppan Edo. Not that Coral Reef is bad, but we live in Boston so eating seafood out for us is hard. We're very spoiled at home

Both are great! Coral Reef is beautiful, but the food is just good.

Teppan Edo is a typical Japanese Steakhouse, but the food is really good.

The only negative we had with TE was the kids meal dessert. YUCK! DS got a Dole fruit cup! The plastic ones that I send in their lunch with the peel back plastic still on top. It was mixed fruit, and he doesn't like that. We asked if he could just have plain ice cream with the dining plan but they said no. Since some adults at our table were having it, it was kind of hard to explain to a child why they couldn't have some. When we said OK to the fruit, we thought it would at least be FRESH fruit!!! We stopped and used a snack credit to get him something decent after we left.

Oh YES! I remember that fruit cup. It was VERY surprising actually to see that delivered in that way. You'd at least think they'd open it, put it in a bowl and add some whipped cream, or something! We were kinda shocked about that "dessert".
