Is the sushi considered an appetizer when dining at teppan edo on the deluxe dining plan?

It was when we had the DDP in 2018, but they have changed their menu recently so I’m not sure if it would be permitted now.

We always do the Deluxe Dining Plan - it was NOT included when we went December 2018. We haven't gone this year, and everything I'm reading contradicts each other, too (much like me and the commenter above me!). Maybe it depends on the server?

I would say that if it's not listed under the title "Appetizer" then the answer is a no. It has it's own category, so I'm going to venture to say that you are going to get a "no" on the sushi as part of your DxDP appetizer. However, there are 3 sushi dishes that are priced in line with the highest priced appetizers and, in those cases, I would imagine that a server may have the flexibility to let you do it. So, maybe you can get some pixie dust!
