Teppan Edo not on 2012 Dining Plan????

Ok I'm not freaking out yet, but....... We are going May 17 - 24, 2012 for our daughter's 1st trip to WDW, her 9th Bday and also her communion. We are getting the Plus Dining Plan, which we will have to pay for since we are buying points from my sister to stay at the BCV. I was just doing my daily searching/planning on the computer and noticed that both Teppan Edo and Tutto Haila are not on the 2012 Dining which are both restaurants I was planning on booking for our trip. Also the Big River Grille & Brewing Works are not on there either. The Big River is not a biggie, but the other two are. Wouldn't you think because they are in Epcot that they would be on the plan? Maybe I'm just a worry wart and I can't book dining resv. till Nov. 19th, so I'm I driving myself nuts for nothing or should I be worried? Thanks for your help.

Restaurants that are not operated by Disney are not listed on the dining plan brochures until they renew their contracts. Usually this happens in December.

You can call Disney Dining if you would like to - but they will likely not know the answer, or give you an incorrect one. This occurs every year, and it is because the restaurants you listed are not operated by Disney.

As others have said, Teppan Edo will almost certainly be on the plan. But typically, none of the non-Disney owned restaurants get listed before December.

On the other hand, I just read that Tutto Italia is closing for a very extensive renovation. When the renovation is completed, it might not even be Tutto Italia any longer.

The only restaurants currently listed for 2012 are the ones owned/operated by Disney. The third party restaurants have until the end of the year to renew their contracts. So far since the inception of the Dining Plan only one restaurant still operating in DW has dropped out so it's pretty safe to assume that if it's participating this year, it will participate next year.

Ok everyone feeling better about the situation. However one more question, since it probably won't be released till December can I still book them in November? Stupid question, but I'm all new to this ADR stuff, the last time I was in Disney was back in 1999. Thanks again for your help

Yes, you can book them at any time. The dining plan is just the way you will pay for the meal. It makes no difference at the time you book a restaurant reservation whether you are on the dining plan or not.

It's also not anticipated that the restaurants will drop the dining plan but you may want to check back in December.
