Hi Everyone! Would you recommend Teppan Edo for lunch or dinner? I heard the chefs may be more interactive at dinner. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

I've always been at lunch and the chefs have been wonderful. My suggestion would be to go when you do best eating a large meal. They serve you plenty of food here. It is yummy too!

We went their this past October for Dinner and loved it. The Chef was very good with his "tricks" and everything moved quickly. The best part about dinner was that not too long after we finished we watched the Fireworks Display. Great way to spend some time waiting for the Fireworks.

I'd pick lunch. They serve a lot of food so it holds you over for a while and then you can snack later if you are still full. Cooks are just as entertaining though during lunch and dinner

are the portions the same for lunch vs dinner? I'm thinking of adding this as an option for our trip...

I'm not certain if they are the same but you get plenty for lunch. You will leave hungry if you go for lunch.

They are the same. We have done both dinner and lunch. I have always left beyond full. I get the steak and shrimp entree and my son gets the kids shrimp one. Then we share. He likes the steak and maybe a piece of shrimp or two. I like the shrimp with a bite of steak or two. Add the noodles, veggies and rice and we are FULL!

thanks so much for the input! yes, we are on the deluxe dining plan for 2 weeks!!! i'm shooting for less than 10 pounds gained. :rotfl2:

I eat everything I want and I never gain weight at DW. Things I would never eat at home! We walk so much it all balances out in the end!

Good luck with that! Two whole weeks. :faint: We only did it for 5 days and thought it was a ton of food. But it sure is fun. Are you doing some 2 credit meals? We did and that was a nice way burn up some credits and not be stuffed to the gills all day. But it really is a fun experience. We got to try lots of things. My husband really got to try lots of things he had never had before.

Are you sure lunch is cheaper than dinner? Id ont' see that from the menus here. ??? Would love to do that if it were cheaper! :thumbsup2

It use to be. I have not looked at their menu's lately so it may have changed. The portion size is the same so maybe they smartened up and made the prices the same. It is a lot of fun. My son love's going here!

We have always gone for lunch and never walk away hungry. I thought the menu was the same for lunch and dinner since it doesn't indicate either one on the menu. We were there in Aug. and the prices ranges from around $17 for chicken and up from there.

Looks like they do have the same menu for both now. Sorry. There used to be a price difference for the two.
