Teppan Edo - How long to allow for dinner?

I'm trying to figure out the best time to reserve Teppan Edo. Trip is in Dec and want to do the Candlelight Processional Dinner package for the 8:15 show. Not far to walk to American Garden Theater, so I'm figuring if we're out of dinner by 7:45 we'll be fine for CP seating. Does a 6:15 ressie give us enough time for dinner? Could we go for an even later time?

I wouldn't suggest going any later. You don't know if your ADR seating time is going to be accurate (you may end up waiting), and you can't rush the meal once you are in there since the meal for the entire shared table is prepared all at once.

I agree with the poster above. We usually end up waiting around 10 minutes even if we get there at the time of the reservation. Then the meal itself is somewhat slow (I don't say that negatively)--preparation, taking your order, having it cooked, and so on. I think with the 6:15 reservation you should be fine though. You could even try to get there a little early, check in, and maybe wait that 10 minutes so you're actually seated at 6:15. Hope this helps!

Thanks. Good idea about arriving early. There's really nothing to be gained by trying to push it a little later, other than adding a little stress about missing CP.

That should give you plenty of time. I also agree with arriving early. We had lunch there last June. Our reservations were at noon, and we actually weren't seated until about 12:15 or so. We were out by 1:45.
