Teppan Edo for vegetarian child?

I can find something there, it looks like, as an adult, but my dd is also a vegetarian and quite a picky one. Is there anything there that they can give her other than rice? I suppose it wouldn't kill her to eat just rice and some veggies but I was wondering if they offered anything else to children who might be picky. At Ohana they brought her mac-n-cheese even though that wasn't on the menu, but I wasn't sure if the restaurants at Epcot would do something like this?

We ate there last week and we were disappointed. The foods are all cooked on the same grill so a strict vegetarian may not be happy with that as well. We usually eat at the resorts and will probably continue to do so.

My daughters are pescetarian, as am I. But, they don't like to eat shrimp. We have an ADR at Teppan Edo for February and I'm really excited about it! I plan on ordering some maki sushi, I know they don't have as much of a selection as they do next door at Tokyo Dining, and I eat crab so we'll have a California Roll. But my DDs really love avocado maki so I'm hoping we can order that, not difficult to make!
I've also heard from others that if you tell them there are vegetarians in the party they will cook your food first. I don't think they'll do tofu or anything (that would be great!) but they'll cook your veggies first and you'll get noodles and rice with it.
The other thing I've been wondering about is, right next door at Tokyo dining they offer a vegetarian option on the kids menu, the vegetable croquettes. I wonder if that would be available for kids at TE too. Wouldn't hurt to ask!

we dined at teppan edo w/a vegetarian and she was offered to have her food cooked in the kitchen uncontaminated by meat and fish... she declined because she is not that strict, but the option was there...

They have veggie and fish dishes that are cooked Hibachi style that she can get. And if cross-contamination is an issue, the restuarant will accomodate you. We ate at Teppan Edo with my 2yr old son who has food allergies, and they cooked his food on a clean grill before they started cooking everyone else's food.
