Teppan Edo DDP Question for 2012

I am looking at the 2012 restaurant for DDP.

Did not see Teppan Edo.

Does anybody know whether they are not on DDP for 2012?

1) Their contract does not come up until December.

The 2012 DDP currently lists only the restaurants that are operated by Disney. All of the other restaurants are owned by third parties who have until the end of December to renew their contracts with Disney's dining plan. Historically only one restaurant still in existence (Fulton's) has dropped out of the plan so you can pretty much assume that if it's on the 2011 plan it will probably be back next year.

I sure hope it will be renewed. I made a ADR with the DP for the last night of our trip in february. Id hate to pay out of pocket for dinner since by the end of vacation ive pretty much killed anything in my wallet. So worth it thou

Its been a regular on DDP for several years. As stated Disney's list is not complete until later in the year. Happens every year before all restaurants are listed.

That said I can't recommend Teppan Edo. It's well rated but seems to be liked by those who do not have a Teppanyaki restaurant in their home town. We found it is way behind compared to what we have at home. Even worldwide chain Benihanas is far superior. But, if you don't have such choices Teppan Edo is fun and has decent food.
