I just want to be sure we all sit at the same table. Seating for 8 normally but does anyone know if they will make an exception?

I think that the problem you may run into is the sheer size of the table - I am not sure if you can squeeze a 9th person into the table set up. If it were a normal restaurant, they may let you. But with this set up, where the table is a cooking surface, they may have a hard limit.

Not to mention the existing seating is already super tight.

We just ate there with a party of 6 adults and 4 kids. They got us all in 1 table and didn't feel too tight at all.
