Wondering if any of you FW tenters have stayed long enough and cooked enough of your own food to have to deal with gray water? We're not used to camping for more than a couple of days at a time, so usually do no more than use a grill. With our FW trip we'll be there 9 days and preparing enough of our own meals that there will be dirty pans to clean up! What do you do with all that soapy, food-particle-laden water?

I belive that you could pour it down the rinse sink in the laundry. I know that you could ask this as you check in. ::MickeyMo

If you are camping in a site with water I believe they have waste sinks at the sites

They do not have waste sinks at the partial hook up sites. However, if you are in Loop 1500. Loop 1600 is right next door. Just find an empty site and dump the grey water in the sewer.

You can also take the grey water to a commode in the Comfort Station and flush it. I don't think I would like it if folks dumped grey water in the wash sink in the laundry room.

Oh, also wipe out your pans with a paper towel before actually washing and throw the paper towel away. The wash water doesn't get as nasty.
