My sister lives in Orlando, but it takes us 30 to 45 minutes to get to Disney each day. I am thinking of staying at a campsite this summer. One reason is to be closer to the world and the other is to take advantage of buying the quick service dining plan. My concern is bad weather...too hot to be in a tent and/or the daily thunderstorms. If we get a campsite but it is too hot and we decide to stay with my sister instead for some of the nights, is that an issue? If we check in but decide not to tent that night or pack up the tent before the end of our stay and stay with her, would that be a problem? I know people camp out all the time, but my husband is not sure and it would help preserve our marriage if we had the option of going back to my sister’s if the camping doesn’t work. We tried camping out one summer at Hershey, PA and it was so hot, we ending up going home!

We have stayed twice in the summer. First time 3 years ago the beginning of June and this year the beginning of July. Of course it is hot that time of year. We spent most of our time during the day at the parks, and didn't come back to the campsite but one day. It wasn't to bad for our family, with 3 kids. The pool was wonderful to get in, and at night we actually had to cover up with a blanket. Hope you have a wonderful time.
