Tent Site Availability 10/23/10? Help!

My boyfriend and I will be making our first camping trip together to FW this October. We have reservations to check in 10/24 and checking out 10/29. We will be arriving in the Orlando area Saturday 10/23 and would love to at least go over and get set up Saturday so we can hit the parks first thing on Sunday morning. However, I am unable to find availability for the evening of the 23rd. Is that a popular day? I thought perhaps maybe there is a waitlist for the campsites? Does anyone have any tips on how I can check easier for availability that day? or am I just out of luck.

And tips you can give would be much appreciated.

Did you try on line or by phone? I would definitely call and see if the 23rd can be added on. You might have to add on more days and then call back and cancel out what you don't want. This is very common when making campground reservations. Hope this helps.

I was finally able to book the additional night today!! Yay!!
