Yes you can. You might want to post this on the Camping board; they are the experts.

Yes, you can. Check on the Disney site for pricing, but there are different rates for sites that have electrical hookups, etc. I've never done it because I'm just afraid that I would never be able to cool off enough at night during the times we go.

FW also has locations more suited to RV's and of course the cabins.

I've tent camped many, many times at Ft. Wilderness! Absolutely love the campground! If you have AAA you can get a nice discount on campsites. I personally love loop 800. Within walking distance to Pioneer Hall and Marina and a very short distance to Meadows Trading Post and pool. Head over to the campsite section on this board. Also be sure to check out Jeff Spencer's website on Ft. Wilderness! Fantastic with loads of information, pictures and maps! http://home.hiwaay.net/~jlspence/faq_fw.htm

I would think a con would be if they put you next to an RV. Then you hear their air conditioners running all night.

We had that happen to us at a state park. It was not fun.

We have always been avid campers. Our one & only experience tent camping at WDW was back in the 90's. Our site was between 2 large motor homes who ran their air conditioners all night--made it hard to sleep. :headache:
