Tent camping

We will be tent camping 12/19-12/22. Who will be there as well?

I sure wish I'd be camping too, unfortunately I have to stay at the all star movies...my DGF didn't want to camp in the winter, hope the camping is great!

I quess I'm a little crazy but I really look foreward to the cold outside air and being in the warm tent. I live in Jax and get so tired of the heat. We always take advantage of the cold!

I guess it does get a little colder here in Mississippi than it does in Jax, but it is always hot here. Seems like we have two seasons, summer (which lasts about 8 months) and fall (which lasts about 4 months). I don't think there is ever a winter.

Every time I've stayed at Fort Wilderness it has been either july or august. That is serious heat, but since my family was always up early and in bed late all we could do was just pass out from being so tired and never really give a thought to the heat.

I looked at the weather for next week and it seems like it is going to be great camping weather with the highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid 50s. What loop are you going to be camping in?

I'll be there in February. Be sure to take lots of pictures. A trip report would be nice from a tent campers perspective. I've read through tons of Trip Report Titles, hoping one of them would be a tent camper, but I haven't found one yet. I hope you have great weather and a great time at FW.
