tent camping sites

I know 1500 and 2000 are for tent camping. And then there are the full hook up sites that you can tent camp on. I was going to do the preferred sites so we would be close to everything but can i tent camp there? Is the sand pit too small to put up at least one tent and a shelter? Which ones are best?

You should be OK. Whole a little smaller than the 1500/2000 loops, the Preferred still have the shell/sand pad. They only eliminated them from the Premium.
