It seems many people have RV's when camping, I was wondering about any experiences people have had camping in a tent at WDW?

Also, how far in advance do you need to make a ressie for the summer months?

We camped there several years ago in a tent and it was nice. The tent pads are sand so you don't have rocks in your back all night. The key is to have a long extention cord and put a fan or two in your tent at night. also the bath houses were great and so clean.
I don't know about ressies, my brother made them. But I think they need to be made asap.

We tent camped on my first trip there (I was 5). I don't remember anything particularly traumatic about it - don't remember being miserably hot or freezing, but we went in the early part of May since my parents had no kids in school yet. I do remember that Ft. Wilderness was a totally fun place to stay, and I do hope to talk my DH into tent camping there some day.
Good luck!
