I called over there last night to get the low-down on tennis, the lifegard that answered took my name for a call back, but I never got one.......

I am taking my mom there next month (3/17-19) and she plays...I don't.
Does anyone know the situation...are those courts in demand? I think my mom would like to try to get a game with some other visitors but I was not sure if the sport is popular at that resort (I have never been there).

My other thought was to hire the pro to play with her for a couple of hours. Does anyone know about this?

thanks for your help!

There are two tennis courts located on property at VB. They are across the highway and you can walk to them in a tunnel under the highway. They have murals of the Peter Pan and the lost boys. I am not sure if they have a sign up list at the lifeguard station or not.

My wife and I did take a joint lesson with a local pro who gives lessons at the resort that was set up by the lifeguards/activities room at the pool. If I remember correctly it cost $ 60 per hour. I would recommend taking a lesson or playing early in the morning. We were there in September and heat and humidity was tough. We looked like we had just gone for a swim at the end of the lesson.

Good Luck and Have Fun at Vero Beach ! It truly is a Hidden Gem !

We've walked around the lake many times and maybe once have seen people using the tennis courts. I think it will be available much of the time.

I have a hard time keeping the ball from going over the those 20 ft tall fences... so I have never considered looking into booking any time with a pro :sad2:

Good luck and have a great time :beach:
