I know we're not Tennesseeans (? is that right?), but we're in NC, my hubby's a fisherdude, and I think he's got some vacation time to burn. We'd been talking about TN -- any chance we can join in? I'll have to make sure he's cool with it (he'd also mentioned Okeechobee, but that's waaaay too close to Disney, and I'd probably have to drop him by the side of the road somewhere and go to Disney instead...).

How about the first weekend od April? We are going to FL the latter part of April.

I just checked for April 1st and 2nd and there are some good sites on the water still left, but none together. Many good sites in the center are still available. Are we really going to camp on April fools day together? Don't let me be the only one who books now . Seriously, as soon as the baseball schedule is out for the kids we will know if we are going to make it.

Have we decided on Defeated Creek? What is the website for reservations? When is the date?

i haven't seen anyone book yet but the website is recreation.gov. Search for Defeated Creek Campground.
