Tempura Kiku?

A spin-off from the sushi thread...

Is this a seperate place from the "main" Japanese restaurant that will be closed in August? I was under the impression that the only other place to eat in the Japanese pavillion was Yakatori House...

Is this a TS or a CS restaurant? Do I need to call for an ADR?

For dinner, do they offer any sushi a la carte? The menu on allears only shows sushi under a combination. For lunch, they have a sushi sampler, however, they only have one children's offering for lunch and neither of the girls like shrimp. If we do this it'd have to be for dinner so they can get the chicken tempura meal.

I am actually subscribing as I would like to learn more about this restaurant. I do know that it is separate than the Grill. A CM told me that they do not accept reservations & that there were a few tables. The CM was under the impression that it would remain open during the changes with the other restaurant. I have read a number of comments here on the DIS that has made me question this along with its proximity to the other restaurant that will be undergoing construction.

Tempurua Kiku is in a room by itself in between the tepanaki restaurant and the lounge. The tepaniaki retaurant takes up about the back half of the second floor while Tempura Kiku and the Lounge take up the front half. They are all next to each other in the same building

From my understanding they are all shutting down at the same time, but I guess they could keep Tempura Kiku/Lounge open while they attach the addition to the building and renovate the existing Tepaniki restaurant.

Keep in mind that Tempurara Kiku has only been serving sushi (more or less) on my last two visits in March and April., no tempura was available
