Hi...just a few days to go.

Any description of what to expect temperature-wise at night? we are leaving on the Eastern Magic this Saturday. Is it windy up on the deck (we are cruise newbies!).

I've read the theatres and dining rooms are chilly (air conditioning); i'll bring along a sweater, but was hoping to live in shorts (both me and the kids) most of the week!

thanks for any advice/info!

I just checked the weather in the caribbean because we are on the next eastern from you....Actually November is a great time to go....The temperatures are still very warm....in the high 80's- low 90's and the temperatures at night arein the mid to high 70's. It does get windy at night on the deck but it was never cold.

As far as the dining rooms and theatres go....it is all to personal preference. On the last cruise...my grandmother was cold in the theatres but no where else. She does not like the cold though. For us on the other hand were just right. I was in a tux and was actually very warm. The other nights I was just right in a polo and a pair of pants.

I would just take a sweater just incase....;) Have a great cruise.....:earsboy:

We went in December and it was VERY windy, but never cold on deck.
Some were cool inside some public rooms, but it warmed up as "bodies" filled the rooms. Tough to keep the temperature exactly the same when you suddenly have 1000 people exhaling 98 degree air into the room!!!
I figure they try to keep the public rooms about 72 degrees. That's what our office is kept at, and half the employees are cold, and half are too hot, so must be the PERFECT temperature!!!
Heck, before the energy crisis, the shopping malls here used to advertise in the summer that was a "GREAT 68" inside!!!
