I live where it's hot. Even our winters are pretty mild. It's not at all unusual to do your Christmas shopping in shorts. Seriously.

Our temps yesterday were (approx.) high--89 or 90 and low--77 or 78.

I was reading the average temps for DL during May and June. (we'll be there the last of May and early June)

This is what I read...May--high72 and low--56: June--high--77 and low--60. Is this accurate?

Normally we travel to WDW and their weather is close enough to ours that I know exactly what kind of clothes to pack.

However, since the weather is so different from ours in Ca...I'm confused as to what to pack. You see...low 70's is a "cool" day for us. Today it's in the high 80's and I'm wearing a very light sweater 'cause it's windy and the wind makes me feel 'cold.' (yeah, weird, I know. LOL)

So...should I pack light sweaters or stick to my normal theme park attire, which is typically Disney t-shirts. :teeth:

Should I pack a jacket for my toddler? I'm trying not to over-do it with packing but I'm really not sure what to take. :confused3

Any advice when it comes to packing for California would be helpful. Thanks! :sunny:

We'll be packing for warm weather (tshirts, shorts & sandals), but also bringing pants and light jackets for morning/evening, which apparently can be a bit cool (40s). We will probably be wearing shorts in the low 60s, so hopefully won't need too much of the warmer clothing.

I will (and you may want to as well) check the weather forecast before we go. It's changing quite a bit right now, but at least that will give me an idea of what to pack as the time nears. If it looks like more rain and cooler temps, I'll (begrudgingly!) pack raincoats and more pants. If it looks clear and sunny for the week ahead, we'll skip the raincoats and travel light. :)

Those look about accurate. In June they have what is called "june gloom" which means it will be cool and overcast in the AM but clear and warm in the afternoon.

A good rule of thumb no matter where you go is back for anything.

Thanks for the link! I have it bookmarked. :)

Yeah, I typically do check weather forecasts before we go so I'll play the wait and see game. It's just that I like to plan out everything, even what we pack, before we go. Guess I'll have to wait till the time gets closer. :)

I know what you mean... I typically have everything packed two weeks before and adjust accordingly. It drives the wife crazzzzzzzzy

I like to plan it all WAY ahead of time... of course that's what brought me to this board in the first place. :rotfl2: We are heading down on the ninth of May. Guess I'll have to start packing next week...

Oh no I am going the first I better get busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am planning on a combo of hot and cold weather clothes.
Jackets and tennies, capris and my boys will wear shorts , thsy don't seem to get cold.
We will use the lockers for our stuff , the sun sometimes does not come out in LA until after noon and when the sun goes down so does the temp!
I just pray we get to swim one time in the DLH pool!
