Huh! That happened a month or so ago with the Jungle Cruise. It took them a few hours to get it cleared up, if I remember right.

Sounds like all of vmk is taking a bad turn.

I am kind of glad of this closing. This way they can fix VMK so that it is not as slow.

I also noticed that music mix. I created a mule, and i use the credits from the music game, but i couldn't create one!!

BUT!!!!!!! it might turn out worse when they open it up again, because everyone will be trying to enter the game at once, and well........

it's gunna get ugly!! LOL

They have done this before when adding new stuff or going very slowly. I used to take from 15 min. to half an hour to get set up again. Rats!

Yeah when I was playing HM game and was in Splash Mountain there was so much lag.I was also pissed by the Music Mix Game.I was helping my friend get credits and it would not let you in.Oh yeah they allow you to get one of the new rooms from frontierland when you create a new account.

Yesterday and today, I thought I was back in Beta. I remember there was
a reason I couldn't do much in Beta. Dial-up computer (1 hour sign on times!)
and lots of crashes.

I thought the "non-existing" music game was wild, and I knew it was a
matter of time before TPTB took the game down to fix stuff.

So far, I've gotten mules just for the gift giving. I'm finally done with those,
so now I can get down to business with the new stuff.

PS When I couldn't get into the music mix area, I sent a help request, and they said "we are aware of the problem and are working on it". It was sort of fun to watch all the people (most of them obviously mules) try to go in. There was a huge crowd around the door at one point! I hope that the game runs faster after this too. It's killing impatient me!

I was so looking forward to working on my river ride and getting items from my trades neither I can do tonight and it almost bedtime. I should have done my christmas shopping tonight instead of putting it off a day because I was so excited to work on my room. Arg. Now I will be going to bed soon and I am fighting a cold so I have to get a good night sleep. Oh well. Hope they make it better. Now that there are over 4,000 player. Gee I thought it was getting to busy at 2,000 players.

Update on what is going on with me (as I'm sure most of you are trying to get in also...probably getting the same thing): it goes as far as the "updating" bar and then either the window closes, or says "cannot connect to server, check your firewall connections..." etc.

Shouldn't it say "VMK is temporarily closed" or something? Is anyone else getting this? This temporary closing has not happened to me before, since I've started playing.

Hey Mia! I'm glad you posted that because the same thing's happening to me with the firewall message. Anyone else besides us getting that pop up after it updates? I hope the upgrade didn't cause the game to lock out certain types of computers or internet connections...

It's not your firewall settings or anything the message says. Really, it is just because they are down for their own reasons and don't like to say that

They just tend to throw out any old message they have handy.
