Temperature?

Has anyone sailed at the end of February to Bahamas? Is the temperature warm enough to swim comfortably in the ocean for a 4 year old? Also, swimming onboard the ship? Not too cold for a little kid?

I've sailed multiple times in the early part of February and it has always been warm enough for the pools. Southern ports are usually in the low 80s and ocean is great. Castaway Cay can be cooler and the water a bit chillier but certainly doable.

You can google historical air temperatures for nassau and have a close approximation. I found the water to be quite chilly on the island in February. I can tough it out, but for little ones I would consider having towels on hand for when they get out the water.
