Temperature dropping!!! Brrrrrr

I was at DL over the weekend where the temperatures were hovering near 70. I saw many Cast Members in long pants, long sleeve shirts and thick jackets and gloves....and I'm walking around the park in shorts and a polo shirt!

It all depends on where your base temperature starts I guess. I live and grew up in MN, so anything above 50 is shorts weather to me! I don't mind the cooler weather at the parks - it keeps the locals away and the crowd levels down.

It was 27 degrees F. at my house this morning and they are calling for snow showers this weekend.

I'd be happy to see upper 60's to low 70's. Might even sweat!

:sunny: :cool1: :sunny:

We are leaving on Saturday so I have been checking the weather each day so we can get a better idea of what to pack. It seems to me that they keep raising the forcasted temperatures by a degree of so each day for the last three days.

It's looking better and better all the time :)

and were sooo hot! I hated it. It is too warm with the humidity to be chugging through everything.
We went to DL yesterday, just to recapture some of that magic that we lost at WDW, it was in the 70's with no crowds and we loved it!! I guess I was expecting too much at WDW.

Where are you from, South America? 70's is by no means "cold". At least in my book.
.

This cracked me up!!!! Don't hold back, tell the poster how you really feel!!!

In my opinion, a sunny cool day is better than a rainy or sticky hot day at WDW. And, of course, any day without a hurricane is a good day!!!

Jeez, now I'm wondering if DH & I are crazy to hit Typhoon Lagoon with the kids next Monday (we leave this Friday and will be there until next Friday).

We've been checking the weather each day and it looks like the temps are rising a bit each day I look at the forecast. We are from Massachusetts so mid 70's is warm to us.

We are hoping that it will be in the high 70's at least one day so we can hit Typhoon Lagoon and maybe go for an afternoon swim a few afternoons.

Keep your fingers crossed!

I'm cold when it goes below 75. So expect to be cold from now until May/June 2005 -- except maybe a couple days next week when we are at WDW.

A few yrs ago we stayed at WL during the first week of December. I looked forward to my 7 a.m. swim. Dressed in swim suit and t-shirt I headed for the pool. To my surprise the pool attendant was dressed in a parka and gloves. We looked at each other and laughed! It was 41 degrees...certainly not shorts and t-shirt weather, but to my Pennsylvania mind not Parka and gloves weather either! In case you're wondering, I skipped the pool, and opted for the hot tub!

I just checked weather.com and accuweather.com. Temps high 70s and UV between 5-6. Yay! Can I leave my sunscreen at home?

In a word....NO. We still see way too many cases of skin cancer. Protect yourself from the Florida sun and wear sunscreen.

If it gets above 72 ans no lower than 52, I'm going to be a happy person. Our summer was so bad this year....72 degrees was pretty much as good as it got. That, with heated water, will be great.

I just want it to be warm enough around 1pm to hop in the pool for an hour and not get so cool in the evening that we have to bundle up beyone a heavy sweatshirt and long pants.

OMG...27 degrees...I would have froze my butt off....my house was 60 and I thought frostbite was kicking in!!!

We just got back yesterday and I would have gladly welcomed 70's. It was in the upper 80's when we were there and the humidity was up too. We arrived October 22nd and returned yesterday and it was warm the entire trip and we didn't see a single drop of rain.

We are going second week of december and I am hoping and praying it is as cool as 70's. i amin Miami and these "cold waves" hardly ever make it down the state this far. I am looking forward to some "cool" weather. It was 87 degrees last christmas day.:( I have been collecting various Disney winter jackets/sweatshirts for DH, DD and me hoping that it will be cool enough. Just in case I also got logo T-shirts for our christmas party picture as well as the logo sweats. Crossing my fingers.

Its BRRRRRRR here today. 40mph gusts and snow flurries.

I cant wait to get to DISNEY:bounce: :bounce:  49 more days:earseek:
