I can't keep it a secret anymore!!

Got the fridge magnets ''We are going to Disneyland Paris''

Thinking of writing an invitation from Snow white to my daughter and one from Lightening Mcqueen for my son.

How did you tell your kids?
Have you got any creative ideas you could share?

Cheers

Well here's what I did. Get Mum to take them out of school at 2PM for a "Dentist Appointment". Watch the confusion on DS face, then tears as he claims he really wanted to go to the Dentist. and the best bit? I have it on video too.....

You HAVE to video it for the look of joy/disappointment on their faces!

Ended up hiding all the magnet letter around the house and they had to put them into the words on the fridge (With abit of help!!)

They were jumping round and then I had got helium balloons with a letter on the bottom from their 'character' inviting them.

I had also got a minnie outfit (off ebay!) and ears wrapped up

As you can see I am abit excited....and now I can share with them now when we see the advert on telly!!

(Got it on video!)

Hi, my 2 lo's are now almost 6 and just turned 4. Last year, I wrapped up big boxes with helium Mickey and Minnie balloons in each and had them "delivered" by a neighbour who rang the door bell then disappeared with an invitation on the tag. The kids thought it must've been Tinker Bell who delivered them then flew off again

That trip had to be cancelled due to ds getting chicken pox so a few weeks later for the rescheduled trip I done a treasure hunt with really basic clues eg I keep food and drinks cold, I wash your clothes etc etc and at the end had a treasure chest with their countdown chains, new invitation, flight tickets etc.

This time I used the Goofy online 20 Steps to Disney thing http://www.giantsteps20.com/ and then put envelopes with Disney address labels to ds and dd with their surprise invitation inside. They thought Goofy had come to our street to deliver their invitation to them

You get some great things over on the Creative board, the people there are lovely and so generous with their time and talent making things for people. Have fun whatever you do, its such a priceless moment :goodvibes
