Hi All,

Well he was surprised! And thrilled! Yay!!!

I was kind of surprised with how difficult arranging things seemed to be. I called ahead to the resort reservation line and the BLT front desk and asked for the "I'm celebrating" pins with 'baby' written at the bottom and was told that I could ask for pins when I arrived. Then when we arrived (I had my husband wait outside while I checked in) they told me they were out of the I'm celebrating pins. One of the cast members, Bradley, overheard this exchange and went on a mission for me to find these pins. And he found two...perfect!

I tried ordering balloons from Disney floral and gifts to be in the room but they deliver between 8am & 8pm so couldn't guarantee they would be there for the surprise. I did end up ordering a cake that was sitting in our room when we walked in. At first my husband said "oh they must have the wrong room". Then he looked over at me holding out his I'm celebrating pin and just started smiling and laughing! It was a great moment that I'm always going to remember!

I'm so happy for you and your husband. What a wonderful way to celebrate the most amazing and life-changing event of your life.

I too had difficulty dealing with those people in charge of adding extra magic to a trip. When we went to Disney World during Christmas several years ago, it was the last year that my DD believed in Santa. I tried to have a table top tree for her, and some other special Disney Christmas touches, but the person on the phone was anything but helpful. We ended up bringing our own Disney Christmas decorations with us from home, because in the long run, it was easier. (We drove down).

I'm glad it all worked out for you. Take care of yourself and that precious life growing inside you.
