tell us one favorite disney story

I love reading these. I have several but I'll spare you and post the most recent one, lol.

We were at Animal Kingdom in the morning when it was practically empty, and my 3 yr old foster to adopt son, took off running after Baloo. I started to panic thinking ds was going to trip the poor guy in his big awkward suit, but the quick thinking CM with Baloo, yelled "behind you Baloo" and as if it was on Q, Baloo stopped, nelt down with his arms wide open and ds ran right into him hugging his big belly. It would have made the perfect Disney commercial! I melted!

Also that day and to copy disneyfamily/dad

adorable tiger face painting $10
giant orange tiger claw $15

glancing up to see Tigger and ds silently pawing at each other

PRICELESS

i'm loving these - keep them coming. Let's me pretend I'm back in Disney and watching all this fun.:teeth:

Our favorite moment was in 5/03 when my DD's were 3 and 1. We had a fairly late flight in and it turned out the fireworks of Illuminations started right as we drove into the gates of WDW. My DD3 yelled, "Look! They're shooting fireworks to welcome us to Disney World!" It was a priceless moment we will never forget.

Another great moment for us was in 9/03 when DD4 was looking for a ring in a shop at MGM. All the rings were too big for her, obviously. Without my knowing it, she asked a nearby CM if they had any rings little enough for her. Well, the CM told her he would be right back. He returned with a Mickey ring that was adjustable. He adjusted it just right and put it on her finger. As we headed to pay for the ring, the CM said, "That one is on me." A magical moment--only at Disney!

I remember on our very first trip when I was about 5 or 6 the first thing we did was go to Epcot on the monorail. My parents, having read all the guidebooks and stuff like that, requested for us to ride up front, and we got it. I can remember seeing Spaceship Earth for the first time and saying, "Look! It's a gigantic golf ball!!" My DF always says that he loves that monorail ride, but I doubt it was for what I said.

There are so many more I could go on and on about, but I don't want to bore you!

One of my favorite moments was when we were at the rope drop for Toontown. I had planned almost everything for our trip, but not this....and of course, the least planned moments can be the most magical! We were greeted at the rope by Pooh who took our DDs ( 6 and 4) by the hand and led them into Toontown. We left Pooh to go see Minnie's house. My youngest was so hopeful that Minnie would be home, but I assured her that Minnie was probably out...wrong! Minnie greeted us at her door and led us through her house. After that we happened upon Cindrella outside the Judges Tent. She asked the girls to escort her in and she walked hand in hand with them to her meet and greet area. There we had quality time with Mickey as well. Wow! we have great memories and pictures of this unplanned time!
