Trying to do some new ADRs this trip and haven't heard too much talk about MM on here...I'd love to hear your reviews!!

We dined there last week with the Fantasmic package and loved it. I got the New York strip and it was better than the one I'd gotten earlier in the week at Le Cellier

Hubby and I were there a few weeks ago and had dinner there under the Fantasmic! Package on the DDP. I had a frozen cappuccino to drink which was very good (basically a granita). We shared the calamari appetizer and loved it! Our entrees were also very good but we were pretty full by then. I had the mushroom flatbread pizza and my husband had the margherita flatbread pizza. We each only ate a couple pieces. We skipped dessert because we were so full.

The restaurant is very loud, similar to The Old Spaghetti Factory if you are familiar with that restaurant. Service was very quick even though they were busy. We enjoyed our reservation much more than I thought we would.

I found it to be a lot like the Macaroni grill and the Olive Garden--tho not as good as either.

There are better Italian restaurants on property.

We had the best clams linguine there in December. I'm fairly certain our server was off her rocker. She was the strangest server we've had in a long time. Just saying the strangest things and kind of just wandering around looking lost. We had the BEST server there a few years ago (Holly), she was just amazing. It kind of reminds me of an old Pizza Hut with more tchatchkies on the walls, as far as the decor. We like it, but we don't go every trip. It helps that the few times we've been were cold, rainy nights so it felt very warm and comforting inside.

I haven't been there in 4 years now but I really liked my whole me a lot when we went. I had the Penne alla vodka which is still on the menu and I loved it. The dessert that I had is no longer on the menu which is disappointing b/c it was awesome. It was a honey ricotta cheesecake. Yum!

We booked that ADR with the fantasmic package even though there weren't a lot of great reviews or even reviews in general and we were very glad that we did.

We love Mama Melrose and we have eaten on most disney properties and restaurants, The smell of the fresh bread as you arrive back in the corner of DHS is a smell i always enjoy! The food is good and we always go later so the park is closing as we exit and snap a bunch of great photos w no one around!

It's one of our new favorites! We discovered it in 2009 I think and have made a point to return every trip. My MIL also INSISTS we go back for our upcoming November trip. I should mention that my in-laws are Italian and so if they enjoy it can't be too bad!
