What exactly does "private pool" mean? (wdw resorts)

I THINK "private pool" means for hotel guests ONLY.

Are you sure you don't mean "quiet pool"? I can't think of any Disney resorts with private pools. Maybe the largest suites at a DVC?

If by chance it is quiet pool that is referring to any pool other than the main pool at any resort that has multiple pools. For example, at Pop Century the bowling and computer pools are quiet pools while the Hippie Dippy pool is the main pol.

You may want to ask this on the resorts page and provide some context.

Both are actual. There are quiet pools, and generally hotel pools are for guests of that hotel only -- no guests, no pool hopping (except DVC members, under very specific rules).
