Hi

I still feel that I haven't seen/done enough of Epcot's World Showcase. Tell me your favourite countries or attraction's....

Ooo now that is difficult Kaylee!!

I love Italy for the shopping..... France for the Perfumery...... Canada for the themeing...... but I think my favourite has to be Japan. Wonderful shop to browse, great food, just a complete wonderful ambience.

But then China is good too! ;)

I could be content to go to WDW to just visit Epcot! :) :)

It must be Norway for the food, drink and CM's who are always very helpful. Although in France they have a lovely bakery and the setting is very well done.
DH states Norway as in his opinion the female CM's are very good looking!! ;)

Do I have to pick just one???

I love Mexico for the ambience in the pavilion - the twinkling night sky is wonderful.

I love the food in Japan - the Tappenyaki is one of my favorite restaurants in WDW

The view of Illuminations from Rose and Crown in England is pretty stunning too.

we have seen stunning street shows in all the countrys, some young gymnasts in Morrocco who were amazing, and some drummers in China (or maybe it was Japan), and the Shakespeare show in UK where all brilliant...

I could go on and on....

..... can't pick one! I really enjoy the individuality of each of the countries.

I love the piazza in Italy at night-time, with the fountain lit up and the romantic music.

I love the interior of America - particularly when the Voices of Liberty are singing (although I'm afraid the American adventure is not for me - I just go in the front)........ it's also great to stroll by in the evening, hearing "Summertime" .

China is my fave live show - their little acrobats are a delight.

Mexico for the interior of the pyramid.

I don't like to leave any of them out as I enjoy spending time in each of them.

is there an interior in America? I've never been into the American Adventure, have I been missing out on something else? All we have seen is a shop and a restaurant, and there was a show on in the outdoor theatre near the American pavilion last time we were there that we watched.

Bev

Bev there is a show in the American Adventure - the warm up is usually some choral singers and then you go in to a theatre and watch an animatronic show (similar to Hall of Presidents) about America - I haven't seen it for years but Paul's requested I put it on the list of attractions to visit.

I guess my favourite country has to be Japan also. The shop, the food and ofcourse those drummers are fantastic. I wish there were more places to sit down and truly appreciate them without someone standing in front of me ;)

The first year we went to WDW I had only 1 day planned for Epcot as I thought the kids (being young) would not be interested, however, I think it is one of the best parks and I'm spending the whole day doing/watching everything in World Showcase as we tend to miss what's going on.
I'm a little sad though that ToD has finished.
Going back to the thread - It's soooo hard to choose, but I like Norway and China and of course UK. We always get the fish & Chips from the outside counter and sit down in front of the lake and eat them - we're doing it again this year!!

Ooh, tricky question. So many different things to see and do that it really depends on what kind of mood you are in.

I guess my fave would probably be Canada. Wonderful food at Le Cellier, plus the beaver tail desserts from the cart outside.

Beer, of course! Off Kilter for live entertainment, plus the circle-vision O'Canada show gives you a wonderful view of how diverse the country is. Really made me want to take a trip there at some point in the future.

Paul

Japan is our very favourite. We both love the shop, Mikimoto pearls and Baby G watches!!

Mexico is also a firm favourite with the market inside.

And good old Norway, we love the ride.

Thats a tough one.
it's very hard to pick just one country.....here are my favs.
Norway for the ride,
Mexico for the inside of the pyramid....great shopping
France for the Patisserie..........yum
Germany for the Becks Beer and the Christmas shop
UK for real chocolate...mars bars, cadbury's flakes etc at the Tea Caddie shop and Harry Ramsdens
Japan for the shopping....gorgeous kimonos, and those fish in the pond...we always pay them a visit, and wonder if they are the same fish that were there on our previous visit!!!!
Italy for that gorgeous piazza
Morocco for those gorgeous rugs and leather handbags

I don't think there is many countries left........

So, my favourite would be.......toss up between Germany and France.

I really enjoy going around the world showcase and enjoy each country for different reasons.

If I had to pick just one it would be Japan. We have spent hours in that shop.

Japan, Italy, Morrocco and Germany all have great architecture.

My Favourite is definitely Japan.

The shop is just brilliant we could of spent hours in here - on our last trip we nearly missed the Tapestry of Nations because we were so busy in here! and I love the theming and food.

I also like Italy - Italian food is some of our favourite and the fountain and tranquility of Italy is lovely.

Richard. :)

I think mine would have to be Canada. I love the film, especially now that I've been to Toronto more than once, but I don't know why they don't show Niagara. I am also a fan of Roots gear. Roots is really big in Canada, and their stuff is top quality. Unfortunately having been to the flagship Roots store in Toronto I've been kinda spoiled and there isn't much in the Canada store that I haven't seen already but I'll still buy!

The scenery is also great. I love the totem poles which is probably why I like WL so much. Also hoping to go to Vancouver permanently so ... what can I say?

I do also like the Japan pavillion for its cool shop.

Did American Adventure for the second time last month. - Like Sam, I hadn't done this for years. I enjoyed it, but prefer the Hall of Presidents by a distance.

I never visit the UK. I go on holiday to get away from reality!

Have you noticed it is always Brits who hang around the UK pavillion?

John :bounce:

I just love Morocco. It seems to stretch back much further than any of the other "countries", and it has a nice quiet little courtyard that nobody seems to find their way to.

My DH loves the Japanese drummers and the Chinese acrobats, who are amazing. We also like the wonderful selection at the patisserie in France and have enjoyed a good meal at Akershus in Norway.

World Showcase is definitely my favourite place in any of the parks. I just wish everyone else didn't think so too. ;)

Thank you everyone for these wonderful descriptions!

I have made notes ;)

My wife likes the ride in Norway, I prefer the movie in Canada, but our favourite together is Germany. When we were on honeymoon we had our first look at some wedding photos with a large Becks each. Every time we go back, we have a large beer & reminisce......Happy times
