Hi All.


*****WE MADE IT******

And with PLENTY of time to spare. Quick reminder...I was worried about making it to the ship from the Orlando airport since we were arriving at approx. 1pm. MAJOR blackout in the Northeast, our lights were out for 24 hours, we didn't get them back until 4:20 pm Friday nite.

Sunday morning our flight with Song was due to depart at 10:30am we are at the airport by 8:15 and the linnnnnneeeeesss were unbelievable. I have never seen anything like it before. I have hubby wait on a line while I make sure we're on the RIGHT line, we weren't. I had tried to check us in online, but systems were down. I tried the Kiosk and it said to go to the help line, which is the line we waited on. We were all checked in and at the gate with breakfast by 8:50. Our flight took off 20 min late but got into MCO on time 1:07.

I went straight to National's Emerald Aisle, picked up a Outlander (for a fullsize price). Whipped around to pick up everyone and the only people there were DH and kids with ALL (3) suitcases. **All your pixie dust helped with this, TY****

We were on the road by 1:46pm. relax breath we have plenty of time I thought the speed limit was 65 but find out it's 70 so am even more relaxed. I avereaged 75 and we were at the port, checked in, bags dropped off in room, bevarge stamp purchased and having lunch all by 3:25.

The trip and weather were UNBELIEVABLE. We all had a great time, plus alittle sunburn at Castaway Cay but it was an amazing trip will write a report soon.

jetsetter90... Thank you for writing this update! I was so worried about whether you all would make it or not! I know what it is like to miss a plane. We over-slept when we were going to Miami one year. Luckily it was not a cruise, so nothing was lost in the ordeal. I just called the hotel and let them know we would be checking in later than anticipated. But I was worried that there would be a million people waiting to get cars, etc. Also I was afraid that the plane would run late, so thanks for letting us know. So happy you had a great time. We leave this Friday to go down for the Magic on Sat. This will be our first time.

Yeah Jetsetter I knew you'd make it (if you can remember, I suggested that people stop telling you to change your flight $$$ and give you suggestions that you could actually work with). I've been waiting for over two weeks to find out I'm glad everything worked out or I would have my foot in my mouth Welcome home.
