Deluxe resorts have bigger rooms, more amenities and often close proximity to parks. That’s what you’re paying for.

I think people are surprised to find out that certain amenities like bus transportation or food court variety is done better at Values.

Do deluxe hotels even have a food court? I didn’t feel like WL had one. I know they have Geyser Point and Roaring Fork (I know they are QS locations) but was there anything else?

Well, deluxe has counter service options, but there is usually more variety (and seating) at value resorts.

If one time is one time too many, then you are better of driving. The transportation Disney provides doesn't suit everyone.

Sorry, just meant that I can understand frustration waiting a long time for a bus at a deluxe. Half joking with the once too many times comment - I do understand how public transportation isn't perfect.

My frustration if I have a long wait for a bus is the same if I'm staying deluxe, moderate, or value. But there are so many variables, you can't say it is Disney's fault if a bus takes a while to come. It may have run into a traffic jam, it may have had scooter riders who struggled with getting on the bus. It may have had someone sick and had to stop to clean up. No way to know.

I get frustrated and impatient with it all at times. But that is why I keep some money on hand earmarked for a taxi ride. Just in case I am in that sort of mood and don't want to wait.
