Just got back from DL last week and stayed at HoJo with my girls. They let you check your bags and head to the parks and text you when your room is ready. Our room was actually ready when we arrived in the morning, which was a blessing. We booked one of the older buildings, not a fan of the towers. Our only bad stay there was in a tower. Room was a little dated, but clean and in good working order. Bedding was so comfy! Many motels on Harbor have limited parking, so you can’t leave your car and go to the park before your room is ready, or leave your car after checkout, check your bags, and return from the parks in the evening. Which means leaving and paying for parking at the Mickey and Friends garage, an extra $35 expense. HoJo has a $25 parking fee per night, but most hotels/motels do. No free breakfast, but you have a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffeemaker in the room. There is also a McDonalds, Panera, IHOP, and Mimi’s Cafe on the way to the parks. We usually pack frozen breakfast sandwiches and have those with coffee and tea. The second and third morning, we bought lemon tea cakes and other treats from Holly Jolly Bakery the night before for breakfast. So delicious! If you drink tea, bring some, they had Lipton tea which is not good. Quick walk to the parks.
