Tell me what you'd do without kids in Epcot from 9-12pm

(Ugh, can't edit my title, but I meant to say 9am-12pm!)

So, we are headed down in October and both of my girls will be participating in a dance workshop in Epcot (WS; though we're not sure which country yet) from 9am-12pm on a Saturday morning (October 11th). I am trying to figure out what my husband and I will do while they are dancing.

We'll be doing FW another day with the girls and I don't think either one of us will really feel the need to do any of the FW attractions again that morning. WS doesn't open that early, so not much we can do there...

What would you do? Breakfast at the BC or YC? Stroll the Boardwalk?? Other ideas?

At first I thought you meant 9pm-12am and I thought of a million things to do!

Ok, morning....

Breakfast can be done on Boardwalk area, probably Beach-Yacht Club for table service. I would suggest France for QS breakfast around 9, then wander parts of FW you otherwise wouldn't do with them.

WS opens at 11, so that gives you an hour to walk the countries and shops before you see the kids... And that will be during Food and Wine, so I'd be ready for some 11:00am-12:00pm snacking!!

I'd do a leisurely breakfast at Cape May then walk to EPCOT, hit the must-do's in Future World, grab a coffee somewhere in the park, and then make my way to WS.

Hit single rider line of test track, ride maelstrom 40 times with some spaceship earth. Grab some coffee and head to world showcase.

Sounds like a great 3 hrs.

La Cava del Tequila! ( I edited it to pm ;) )

Cape may is a character breakfast so I don't know if it's going to be relaxing. I would grab some pastry and coffee from France and just wander

Is this assuming we don't have any FP? I'll assume it is since you will have your kids with you the rest of the trip/day.

If it was me/BF... we would have probably already eaten breakfast, so we'd run over to Soarin as fast as we could and hope the line wasn't too ridiculous. If it was too long of a line, we'd go to TT and try that. If they were both out of control, we'd try Spaceship Earth. After that, maybe Nemo, Figment or Living with the Land. Then I'd make BF take me in Mouse Gears and I'd just soak it up. I love Mouse Gears and could spend hours in there. Next maybe Ellen's Energy or just take a stroll around WS (it usually opens at 11, so it should be open by then). Then a snack somewhere around WS. Maybe Yorkshire Fish Shoppe.

Alternatively, if I had kids and I was getting a little alone time with my husband, I might want to try the Behind the Seeds Tour. It's on my Disney Bucket List. If you're unfamiliar, it's a tour of the Living with the Land greenhouse area/aquariums/etc. It's only around $25 pp and seems like a lot of fun.

I would probably go create a roller coaster at sum on all thrills (maybe we would each create our own and see who gets the higher score), and we would then head over to mission space and walk into the exit at the gift shop and play the space race game a few times, and then we would go and have our pictures taken without kids at every photographer, and then I would get Starbucks iced something and DH would get an adult beverage and we would head back to get the kids :)

If it were me.... I would do a few rides, a little shopping, a nice coffee drink. Maybe right at 11am I'd go to Canada or Mexico (first two countries in WS) and explore either one of them. I'd be sure to have a lunch ADR for someplace your girls would find fun and appealing as they will be hungry after their workshop. Then maybe stroll WS with them. My kids have always loved shopping in the gift shop in Japan, it has such interesting things. Sounds like you could have a great, non-commando day at Epcot to me!:thumbsup2
