We are staying at POFQ this May and want to check out the Boardwalk. Is there alot to do in the morning? We were thinking of grabbing breakfast at the Boardwalk Bakery and seeing the sights. What kind of things can we expect there?

Thanks:)

Hi there!! The Boardwalk is one of our favorite spots at Walt Disney World. You might want to go in the evening and get an ice cream and enjoy the night time atmosphere. There are jugglers and games, you can ride one of the surey bikes around the Boardwalk and Yacht & Beach Club. It is a lot of fun, and if you sit down in front Jellyroll's you can see some of Illuminations fireworks!

Have a great time!

I would like to go at night, but we only have two days. We are doing the Disney cruise and staying at POFQ for two days before. That night we want to catch Spectomagic and wishes.

Is there anything to do during the day, or is this a waste of time?

In the morning it's relatively, well, dead. Most of the stuff that goes on happens at night, but as dvcfamily said, you can rent surrey bikes, and you can certainly walk around. There's plenty to see, and it's fun to walk to loop from the Boardwalk, past Yacht and Beach Club and back. You pass right by the Swan and Dolphin at the same time. The walk took us about 15 minutes, but we were rushing because we weren't exactly supposed to have left the Boardwalk:blush: and wanted to get back quickly so that if the parents got out of the DVC meeting we wouldn't be in too much trouble.
