I got from this board, the I-75 exit list website, which is great. I'm just wondering, from others who have driven this, the best exits, in any of the states (we're driving from Chicago). Anything that stands out as being extra clean, or a nice area, or just a good place to stop. I know in the Chicago area, some exits are better than others to stop at, and I'm sure the same goes for anywhere. So I thought maybe someone would remember specific exits etc. I know, I'm getting a little detailed with my planning, but this is our first long drive with our kids, so I really want to be prepared. Thanks!

I am wondering about this also, any one have any good places to stop?

There are alot of guide websites regarding I-75....just type in a search and find one for you. The Newtown Pike or Man of War Exits in Lexington, Kentucky have great eats and such.

I'm not sure about Ohio never had to stop. Kentucky-Florence(exit-186-180),Berea(76),Corbin(25),. Tennessee-Clinton(122),Cleveland(25)-Georgia-(333)Perry(136)Cordele(101)Dsis has stopped in Tifton.Ocala Florida was a great stop with the (disney welcome center, except it will close any day now). I always felt safe and comfortable at these exits. What I would be interested in is where NOT to stop in each state along I-75. I would purchase the book Along I-75 by Dave Hunter. It will give you gas stations, lodging, food for every exit from detroit to Valdosta Ga. In October you will be able to also a detailed roadway book on Floridas greater highways. This book isn't just a map, he gives you great info on a lot of stuff. Go check it out at your nearest book store. Maybe you could even find it at your local library(not sure on this). Susan

The Man of War Exit in KY was great! Tonnes of restaurants and shops right off the highway.

Don't stop to get gas in Caryville TN. Go to the Lake City exits. They are just a couple of exits south. Gas will be about .20/gallon cheaper (but not cheap!). There is also a good Cracker Barrel there, Subway, McDonalds, KFC, Sonic etc. Easy to get in and out of.

Also, I would stop before I get to Chattanooga, TN There is not a good place to stop after you reach Chattanooga until you hit Dalton, GA.

Hope you have a safe trip.
