On my next trip I would like to try some different places to eat. In my previous trips I have always gone to the same places and I would like to try some new places so tell me some of your favorites that I don't normally eat at.
Here is my list of restaraunts that I ALWAYS eat at and would like to try some new ones... Please give me some suggestions!:thumbsup2 We are pretty much up for anything...except seafood. We would really like to try some Japanese or Italian? :thanks:

50's Prime Time
Sci-Fi Dine in
Chef Mickey's
O'hana
Hoop Dee Doo
Planet Hollywood

We love to try new breakfasts so if you have any suggestions that would be great!
Last time we tried the Princess breakfast at Epcot and Donald's Breakfast at Animal Kingdom and LOVED THEM:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 !!!!
That's all I can really think of right now!

Teppanyaki (when it re-opens) Coral reef, breakfast at Donald's and 1900 Park Faire, Kona Cafe, and Spoodles top our often repeated list.

I would definitely say Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom. We always eat at the Garden Grill at Epcot. Of course, everybody likes Le Cellier (including our family). We really like Rainforest Cafe. Other than that, we always eat at the Sci-Fi, Planet Hollywood and Liberty Tree Tavern. We area going back to the Hoop Dee Doo (2nd trip) this June.

Our "new" restaurants this year are Coral Reef and Tusker House.

I've read that Boma at brkfst is good, but I don't know. I do know that Boma at dinner was very good for us. Crystal Palace was a pretty good brkfst, The Maya Grill was good at dinner, my DH raved about the lamb.

I know that there are a good many poor reviews for Mama Melrose's, but it's one of my favorites. We also like to try new places every year, but I wouldn't do a trip to WDW without Mama Melrose's. The food is great and the service is incredible. Anything on the menu can be prepared anyway you request it. They're always happy to make my Spaghetti Fra Diavolo (normally comes with clams, calamari, mussels and shrimp, tossed in a spicy Marinara sauce), shrimp only (and lots of it) in a non-spicy Marinara sauce. My husband usually has the steak and my oldest DS gets a pizza every time, which he raves about. One other place you might not have given much though to since you don't like seafood, is Coral Reef. The atmosphere is great and the steak is wonderful. I usually get the pork chop there and my daughter loves the chicken breast. If you discover someplace wonderful, be sure to let us know so we can try it!

We were just in disney last week for 11 days. We ate at wolfgang puck's cafe in downtown disney. I am a pasta lover. Well, the fettucine at this restaurant was the absolute BEST pasta I have EVER had or likely will ever have again (we don't travel very often). I cannot recommend it enough!!!

Where is this located?

I have enjoyed breakfast at both 1900 Park Fare and Cape May. Its nice to check out both of those resorts in the process of breakfast. Cape May had the best fruit I ever had in my life and I have seen a few other posters comment on that as well. Here are some other places my family has enjoyed that are not on your list:

For dinner in the MK I enjoy both Liberty Tree Tavern and Tony's. Tried Tony's in Decmeber for the first time and was really pleasantly surprised. We also enjoy Crystal Palace very much. Its nice in that they have characters at all three meals.

We have done San Angel in Epcot and love that setting. Its a different style of Mexican food than most people are used to (as in not Tex Mex). I just love that setting. We also love Coral Reef and Le Cellier at Epcot. Coral Reef is a very nice, cool, relaxing place to have lunch and take a midday break in Epcot, which to me is always the most exhausting of the parks to tour. We also had a wonderful dinner at Marrakesh one night. My husband, son and 82 year old dad certainly enjoyed the belly dancer! I loved the food, the appetizers and desserts were all really good. And for that matter, the Tangerine Cafe in Morroco is wonderful for counter service as is the Yakitori House in Japan. Those are two must have cs places in Epcot for us each trip.

MGM, your two are always my two so I have nothing to add there! Except maybe to take the boat over to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. Its supposed to be incredible and that might be a nice change.

In DTD we really enjoyed Wolfgang Pucks. Its huge portions, esp. if you are on the DDP but it was all really good. I would recommend an early dinner, it gets very crowded and noisy in there.

We also enjoyed Kona Cafe very much. It makes a nice break for lunch or dinner on an MK day. And Boma at the AKL is wonderful for dinner and I hear they have a very good breakfast buffet as well (non characters). Again, its as much fun checking out the resort as it is eating there.

Good luck with finding some new favorites!

KONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, we tried it for breakfast & dinner the 1st time in January. The great reviews from this board were right, it's our new favorite!

MY favorites are: Crystal Palace for lunch - the fritatta and the wild mushroom pasta is to die for. BOMA on wednesday or saturday - this is when they have the ribs, coconut curry chicken stew and the couscous I like.

We love Rainforest Cafe at AK - we always get the shrimp entree (shrimp done 3 or 4 different ways), it is HUGE and really good. Beirgarten gets rave reviews from this household. We love to eat and it fits the bill!! The pork tenderloin is wonderful and I could drink the gravy like soup...lol

Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is a lovely respite from the crowded restaurants. Great service, great food and not horribly expensive. For counter service we love Tangeriene Cafe at Morrocco in EPCOT and the Lotus Blossom Cafe.

My favorite thing to do is eat....can you tell?:confused3 :lmao: :lmao:

BOMA for the best buffet, cosmic rays for the best counter service, earl of sand wich for the best counter, the brown derby, and le cellier for the best steak

Coral Reef was our #1 favorite. Then LeCellier. Also honorable mention to Rose & Crown for the fish & apple crumble.

Favorite cs was the burgers at Cosmic Rays. Tasted flame grilled.

Had breakfast at Rain Forest Cafe at AK. It was very good. The rest of our breakfasts were the food court at CBR (love those mickey waffles!)

Have fun on your trip!

Try a kakigori (next to Japan at Epcot). Delicious!!
