Tell me.. What are the great thingh about Hotel NY?

Being right next to Disney Village is brilliant - can be a better location than DLH for some. The rooms are nice and big, breakfast lovely and civilised, and the pool is lovely.

It will be nice if you're there when opening hours are shorter. Hope you have a lovely time. :)

I am considering upgrading us to here for March from Sequoia Lodge

Hot breakfast - Nice on a cold day hoping it will keep us going longer then a croissant

Location - Especially on the night we go to Cafe Mickey and with a 1 year old we plan to go back for a break so looking forward to a shorter walk!

The pool I doubt we will have time but our DD loves swimming an d have read the NY pool is much nicer!

Just because I have never stayed here makes me excited

Haven't stayed there for a while but I love the theming of the hotel, especially the photos of NYC. The rooms seem a decent size & I love the bar:goodvibes

we're staying in HNY again in March. Lovely hotel, wonderful tehming, nice staff, great location. What can I say? I love HNY :lovestruc

As everyone else has said, location is great :thumbsup2 Close enough to do EMH and then back for a late breakfast. Also great for nipping out to the Village in the evening after a long day.

I love the large, comfortable rooms. Air con (not that you'll need that in November :lmao:) great pool, shop, Manhattan restaurant for breakfast and great buffet meal in the Parkside Diner.

Character meets in the lobby each morning are never busy - we love the yellow taxi photo point - and the real one outside :)

Staff have always been lovely here too. We just love it

we stayed in NYH in 2009 and loved it, we got upgraded to Cafe Mickey for breakfast which was a lovely suprise and we had a lovely view of the lake. it is so close to the Disney Village. the food was good and the room was big, clean and comfy. if my budget allowed it we would be staying here agin but it will have to be the Cheyenne this time (it's that or not go!!) you'll have a fantastic time staying there, oh and the shop is really nice too xx

NY was my first hotel in 1992, it's marvelous place, very good room where you can see the lake , food extra for breakfast , shop with wdcc is one of the best of DP:love:

I love the bar too, it is my favourite at DLP.:) I also love the lifts!
The location is great, handy if you like to go to the Disney Village at night.

I can think of several things I like about the hotel.

The City Bar being number 1 - it's fab.

I also like the lobby and reception area, the lifts are cool and just the whole theme of the place. It doesn't feel overly Disney, which I quite like.

I am not a massive fan of the village, for various reasons, however having the Earl Of Sandwich so closeby was great.

The level of service also impressed me, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I also thought the little hotel store was good and the Parkside diner restaurant is also nice, though we didn't eat there often.

Whilst we didn't use the pool that much it is really clever the way they combined an indoor and outdoor one.

Not necessarily a downside but there was no 'wow' factor with the room, considering it's deluxe, even though we had a lake side view which was nice.
I also didn't think the hot breakfast items were that special.

If we hadn't have seen such a good price for the Disneyland Hotel I would have no hesitation staying there again and I intend to walk over from the DLH only if to visit that bar again. :)
