Having a Vow Renewal ceremony at Disney during our honeymoon so it's just the two of us, and so we can have the MK photo shoot? I read that the basic cost is $3000 for a 4 night moderate stay with park passes - that's actually pretty ok with the current exchange rates. We'd be looking for either a 7 or 14 night stay for our honeymoon anyway.

I'm just so massively upset that we're not allowed to have the MK photo shoot as the ceremony isn't at Disney. We have too many family that would be broken hearted if we were married abroad so there was no way we could have the Disney wedding.

I'm having a bad wedding related day today (I'm allergic to my engagement ring and we don't know what's gonna happen - it's been taken for replating to see if there was something else that got into the metal last time) so knowing I can't have the MK shoot I dreamed of is twisting the knife somewhat :(

I don't think its crazy. If its a dream you have had and you can afford it. Why not? maybe something really intimate like Sunset point would be lovely.

Sorry to hear about your ring issues.

It isn't crazy if that is what will make your dreams come true, and you can afford the expense! If you and DF are on board, I say go with it!

But, have you considered a honeymoon shoot in one of the parks?:yay:

Good Luck! How many times do you honeymoon at Disney World? Do it your way and the way you want it! After all, Disney World is where dreams come true! :wizard:

Will you have your wedding liscense back by then? If so.... you do realize you would be paying nearly 3000 for a ceremony and 800 for an MK photo shoot... so it would really be like paying 3800 for the chance to have an MK photo shoot. I suppose that is very do'able as long as the money is realistic to you-- seeing as you wont be using that as your actual wedding ceremony. Or maybe Im misunderstanding you. GL whatever you decide.l

EDIT:: Okay... I hope I didn't sound too harsh or sound as though I thought it was, indeed, crazy. I do believe that you should do whatever you want, if you can afford it, especially if its a dream of yours.

or you could use it as an excuse to go back and have a VR plus MK photoshoot for your 1 year anniversary (if you can wait that long!). It would be something really special to look forward to (I've waited over 10 years for mine, and still another 11 months to go!!).
Good luck whatever you decide to do.

I'm the wrong person to ask about the MK photo shoot. We had outside photography during our Disney wedding, so we were to have a Honeymoon shoot as part of our wedding pakg and when the photographer called to say he needed to change the time I told him fahgedaboutit--I was sick of having my pic taken--I just wanted to relax and have fun!

You have a sturdier constitution than I, OP. I wouldn't want to go through two wedding ceremonies in the same year for all the oil in Arabia--never mind ANOTHER photo shoot.

Why not just honeymoon at Disney, skip the wedding part, and have your photo taken at MK? You could use the money you'll save to eat supper at Victoria and Albert's. Twice!
